How We Use Pricing Data
When you fill out a questionnaire, book an audit, or review your auditor, some of that data powers the anonymized public pricing statistics on AuditNex. This page explains exactly what we collect, how it is anonymized, and the rules that keep any single company from ever being identifiable.
What Goes In
Questionnaire answers
Audit type, company size band, GRC platform, and timeline — used to match you with firms and to compute demand and pricing patterns.
Booked engagements
Actual prices paid for audits booked through the platform, with the audit configuration (framework, type, company size band).
Auditor reviews
Ratings and self-reported prices customers share when reviewing their auditor.
The Anonymization Rules
Every public statistic on AuditNex follows the same four rules:
Aggregates only
We publish medians and percentile ranges (25th–75th) — never individual prices, never row-level data.
Minimum sample of 5
A statistic is withheld entirely if it would be computed from fewer than 5 data points, so no segment is small enough to identify anyone.
No identifiers, ever
Company names, emails, and contact details never appear in any published statistic and are never sold.
Sources kept separate
Real transaction prices and self-reported review prices are computed and labeled separately, so you always know how reliable a number is.
Data Use FAQ
Is my company's pricing information published?
Never individually. Public statistics are aggregates only — medians and percentile ranges computed across at least 5 data points. Your company name, email, exact price, and any detail that could identify a single engagement are never published.
Who sees my questionnaire answers?
Your answers are used to match you with audit firms and generate pricing. When you request matching, relevant details are shared with the firms being considered for your engagement — that is the point of the marketplace and is covered in our Privacy Policy. Questionnaire answers are not sold to unrelated third parties.
What is the minimum sample size for published statistics?
Five. If fewer than 5 data points exist for a segment — say, a specific audit type and company size combination — we withhold the statistic entirely rather than publish a number a reader could trace back to individual companies.
Are review prices and transaction prices mixed together?
No. Prices customers self-report in reviews and actual transaction prices from the platform are computed and labeled separately, because self-reported figures are less reliable. Each published statistic states which source it came from.
